-
How long will my makeup take?
A beauty makeup can take between 45 mins to 1 hour to do and a SFX makeup can take between 1 to 2 hours to do. It will just depend on the look you want.
-
Is a bridal preview mandatory?
No, but it is recommended. Previews can help to see how colours and textures translate onto your skin. It really allows us to create the perfect look for you! I would recommend to try and book your preview no later than 4 weeks before your wedding date. Previews are conducted in-studio Monday to Thursday.
-
How long will my preview take?
It usually takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a preview. I really like to take my time and make sure you are getting what you want and really discuss how you want to look for you big day!
-
How do I prep my skin for makeup?
Cleanse your entire face and neck the morning of your appointment. Refrain from exfoliating your face with sugar scrubs and waxing or tweezing facial hair at least 1-2 days before your appointment. If you've had a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or similar skin treatment, ensure that any irritation or redness has subsided 2-3 weeks in advance.
-
Are false lashes an extra cost?
Nope! Complimentary false lashes are included in every makeup application booked. There is a charge for lashes if you did not book makeup services ($10-$25).

How do I remove my SFX makeup?

What is your minimum and maximum to book?
My minimum to book for mobile services is $500 for Fridays and Saturdays and $400 for Sundays. My maximum is between 5-6 services depending. If you have more than my maximum we may have to bring in another artist or assistant. For in-studio bookings there is no minimum.
-
May I book a preview before booking you for my wedding day?
Yes! However booking a preview does not secure your wedding date. If another person inquires about your date you will receive a courtesy email. A date is only secured with a retainer.
-
I have a deep/fair/olive skin tone, do you have my shade?
Absolutely! I bring every colour to every booking. No need to worry about your foundation matching your skin tone.

What if I have allergies to cosmetics?
Please make me aware of any and all allergies you may have to specific products before we begin your makeup. I have many hypoallergenic products to use if this is the case.
-
How should my hair be when I come to my appointment?
Please come with your hair clean and dry! We do not allot time for drying hair and we want to make sure we have your full appointment time for styling your hair.
-
How should I prep my hair?
The day before you appointment, shampoo your hair thoroughly then condition the ends of your hair. Do not skip conditioner as the lack of moisture will cause static. After washing apply a volumizing mousse to the roots (best for fine or normal hair) or heat protecting smoothing cream (best for coarse/frizzy hair) and blow dry your hair smooth using a brush. Refrain from washing your hair on the morning of your appointment . If you have very curly hair (ie. ringlets) and are wanting to keep your natural curls, do your usual curly hair routine and we will refine your curls while styling.
-
How long will my hair take
It takes between 30-90 minutes per hairstyle. Timing depends on the desired style and your hair type.

What is considered extra long hair?
If your hair comes down to mid back or longer that would be considered extra long. However this charge may be added or taken away last minute due to hair changing (i.e being cut since your initial quote). Please try to inform me asap if your hair changes between this time.
